The heart of IV21
Gairloch harbour is down at Charlestown at the south end of the village, where the prawn and creel boats tie up and the road bends round past the Old Inn. It is the point people measure everything else from: the pier, the fuel, the boats going out into the Minch, the walk round into Flowerdale. Coming over the hill and seeing the boats in the bay is the sign you are back.
